This filter is excellent for evening and night shots in urban areas or, for example, Astro photography,it blocks in the light spectrum between approx. 580 nm and 610 nm of sodium lamps and mercury arc lamps, the yellowish/orange light is filtered out and there is virtually no light pollution left, the result is a much cleaner image.

The filter is provided with the excellent Haida Nano Multi Coating on both sides.
